Many people don’t know that Google offers a free service to monitor all web references to your name, your business or company, your products or whatever you want to know about in terms of who’s looking at specific terms you want to know about.

Just to go: http://www.google.com/alerts. Fill in a quick form to create an alert by topic, company or individual name. By doing this, you keep tabs on what’s happening with your name, customers and industry. Anytime anything is written about you on the Web, you’ll receive an email with a link to what was written. How cool is that?
