Well, at long last, I decided to follow the advice of my personal social media sage, Michelle Price and create a Face Reading for Facebook page.
Now, that has been no small feat – that meant I had to finagle my way around Facebook to create a business profile and a group page, all in addition to my Facebook profile. I had to figure out how I was going to get the word out (I decided to read people’s faces on video for about 3 minutes each), which meant that I had to figure out how to use my new webcam.
Not only that, but I had to learn how to make the video into a movie and upload it in all the right places, then tag it properly, and set up a corresponding web page on my main website, for face reading. I had to create a product for a face reading session <www.lynnreadsfaces.com>, complete with all the links and autoresponder.
Naturally, Michelle pushed me a little further – she convinced me to try using various alternatives to submit videos online, which pushed my technological learning curve that much farther. However, that got me to have the top three spots in Google search rankings for several key search terms within 90 minutes!
Meanwhile, within 24 hours, Michelle Anton interviewed me for her blog, I was deluged with face reading requests from my Facebook Friends, and several people have noticed my gifts, skills and talents in a way that wasn’t evident before (translation: I’ve gotten several invitations to be a guest speaker on mastermind calls, etc.).
I wanted to document what’s been happening, because it really is all about the power of social networking! And, at some point, I’ll share more about face reading – for now, I’m on the run to do more face readings by video! ;+) And please – if you’re on Facebook, connect with me to be my friend!
