Applying Ancient Wisdom For Your Success Today ~ Intro TeleSeminar
Friday September 30th 2011, 7:02 pm

With new consciousness comes new opportunities. This is
true in both life and business.

For example, consider the ‘living bridges’ of Southeast Asia in
this video:

http://youtu.be/apBO9pujP5E

In about four minutes, you’ll see:

> Holistic problem solving in action
> How to survive any deluge
> Using natural resources innovatively
> Building a commuter route
> Becoming sustainable living architecture

What would it look like if your business supported you in doing the
same – holistic problem solving, surviving predictable deluges,
using your natural resources in new ways, being a commuter
route for your clients to achieve new results and becoming a
thriving, long-lasting part of the very fabric of your industry?

How would your business change?

And how can you create that change starting now?

This is just one of the concepts within a new teleseminar that my
colleague, Morgan Taylor of Therapy For Your Soul, and I are
co-sharing next week.

By the way, there are seven more concepts that we’ll be covering
then too – this is an introduction to a system that accesses
ancient energies to support your business growth here and now.

Together, these eight pillars of wisdom constitute an emerging
business model where feminine energy is actively honored,
cultivated and required to activate your new next best level
of business.  We call it Astarte Wisdom.

–> Read more about the name here: www.AstarteWisdom.com

(And guys – this isn’t about gender!) ;=)

Because Morgan and I feel that this information is sooo vital to
every entrepreneur we know, we decided to put all the highlights
of this powerful new paradigm into a fr** teleseminar next week.

So, Thursday night, October 6, at 7:00 pm Central, please join us.

Truth be told, we are using this very approach to create what
you’ll be hearing. (By the way, that’s code for: largely
unscripted, free-flowing and in-the-moment authentic
conversation… the feminine business model in action!)

Actually what I think that really means is that we aren’t quite
sure all of what we’re going to touch on during our time together
and it will likely feel like you’re eavesdropping on our private
conversation rather than being in a typical teleclass environment.

That being said, you know how excited I get when I get on a roll
(at times, I’ve considered becoming an auctioneer…). ;=)

Anyway, the good news is that Morgan has graciously offered to
remind me when it’s time for me to slow down and breathe (and I
had to swear I wouldn’t have coffee beforehand – this material is
THAT good!!!) ;=)

Here are the details:

DATE: Thursday, October 6, 2011
TIME: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Central (5:00 pm PT / 8:00 pm ET)
DURATION: 60 Minutes + Questions (about 30 more min?)
FEE: None
AUDIO AVAILABLE AFTER?: Yes (but you must register to receive it!)
TO REGISTER: www.AstarteWisdom.com

On behalf of both Morgan and myself, we are really excited about
sharing Astarte Wisdom with you!

In fact, taking your time to experience the eight pillars of Astarte
Wisdom just might expand your consciousness – and therefore
your business – on the spot next Thursday! ;=)

“See” you there…

Lynn

P.S.: Oh! One more thing – in the spirit of this particular holistic
pillar, please invite your friends and colleagues to join our virtual
community next Thursday – we’d love to share the wisdom with them
too! Thank you in advance… ;=)

Just forward this email to them or refer them this page link so
they can register for the call: www.AstarteWisdom.com

Looking forward to it!!!! :+)

What’s Bigger for You?
Tuesday September 06th 2011, 5:07 pm

Yesterday was Labor Day here in the U.S., which is a national holiday
that celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers.

Here’s the definition of work that resonates with me:

“A job is what we do for money; work is what we do for love.”
~ Marysarah Quinn

With this definition in mind, what are you doing for work?

If you’re self-employed, have you just created a job with a
crazy boss?

Or are you working from and for what matters to you and which
generates revenue back as a by-product?

(Personally, I’ve done both and I far prefer the latter.) :+)

So, Kate, what’s bigger for you?

What is it that you are uniquely here to do?

And do you know how to put it together in a way that generates
visibility, client connection and revenues?

There are eight basic pieces that you must put in place to have a
viable business:

1. Your Message: how to talk about what you offer

2. Your Profit Path: a strategic business development plan

3. Your Value: how to package and price your value

4. Your Signature Product: your system for creating results for
your clients

5. Your Website: your online presence which is essential for
credibility

6. Your Copy: how to write about what you do in a clear and
compelling way

7. Your Platform: how to become seen as an expert in your industry

8. Your Action Plan: how to focus to be organized and productive
for traction

If you are missing any one of these, your business is basically
missing a body part.

Your potential clients aren’t finding you, you’re not getting to
share what you are uniquely here to do and you’re not positioned to
receive revenues effectively.

You can take your business to new levels of clarity in the course of
just eight weeks by working with me in a private, intimate group
program.

The power of this program comes from a) practical experience,
b) sequenced action, and c) personalized feedback.

And it starts next week on September 13, 2011.

www.BusinessOutsideTheBoxDelivered.com

So, how can you contribute more?

What’s bigger for you – staying where you are now or taking action
for targeted, fast results in developing your business?

Start now because every day you put off taking action is another
day your business isn’t producing.

Just go to the website page and download the application to get
rolling… once I receive it, we’ll have a chat to answer your
questions and make sure it’s the right program for you right now.

P.S.: FYI – This is probably the last time I’ll be teaching this
program, because my work is moving in new directions. Just sayin’…
the time really is now… I am honored to be your Catalyst. :+)

Keys (and Invitation) to Business Building
Friday September 02nd 2011, 4:53 pm

Yesterday, I met with a group of committed entrepreneurs
who desired to know more about business models and why theirs
weren’t working. (Thanks to www.blendconnection.com!)

The first big key to growing your business – when you don’t
know what you don’t know, how do you get new information?

How do you know what to ask, what to focus on and where
to turn for instruction and insight?

The workshop yesterday was a bit of an experiment because the
agenda was based completely on the people who showed up and
what they brought for discussion.

And it produced some tremendous insights, some of which I’ve
shared here because they’re important.

*** BUSINESS KEYS ***

>>> A business model is a strategic, sequenced progression that
ensures your clients receive your solution in the best way for
both their consumption and problem resolution. (They can’t see
the backyard while they’re standing at the curb and before they’ve
walked through the house – throwing everything at potential
customers from the get-go doesn’t make sense.)

>>> A business model means you can monetize what you do. (It also
infers that you have calls to action to invite your client to work
with you further – aka, ‘make the ask’.)

>>> A business model without passion is flat and lifeless.

>>> A business model serves both the operational aspects of your
business and the marketing campaign of your business.

>>> If you are receiving money (or desire to) for your products or services, you are:

a) in business, and,
b) a marketer.

These are foundational concepts that can easily be missed in the
flurry of establishing your business because you don’t know what
you don’t know when you’re trying to get your business going.

By the way, this includes people who have been in business for
years too… business is a dynamic, evolving, fun thing to do –
it’s exciting because it changes! As you grow, it grows.

So, wherever you are in the continuum of business life, the basics
are still the foundation of thriving in business.

*** YOUR INVITATION ***

If you are ready to either launch or take your business to the next
level with guided, personalized support, I am teaching an 8-week
intimate group program starting the week of September 12.

In just eight weeks, you will not only explore key concepts in a
systematic, sequenced way, you will be putting them in action AND
getting personalized guidance and feedback from me.

That means you get direct feedback on what you’re putting together so
you’re not ‘shooting in the dark’.

You’ll also have everything you need for your business (except the
actual website) in just the next eight weeks because you’ll be
taking consistent action.

*** THE PROGRAM ***

To learn more and download your application now, go to:

www.BusinessOutsideTheBoxDelivered.com

I’ll leave you with one last thought…

If you haven’t taken action or aren’t getting the results you
want or desire to put a solid foundation in place for the next
level of your business, this is the program that can help you
get fast traction.

And if you have questions, let me know – I’m on stand-by. :-)

To Creating Your Business Outside The Box ~

Lynn

P.S.: FYI – here are the answers to a couple of questions people have
asked about this program.

Yes, the group classes will be recorded.

The group classes will be scheduled as best meets the needs of
program participants (including being on Tuesdays).

This is the last time I will be personally teaching this particular
intensive, so if this is of interest to you, the time is now.

The topical curriculum is here:

Use The Quickening For Your Happiness
Monday August 15th 2011, 3:00 am

Fall is already coming… the signs say so. There are ‘back to school’ ads, people talking about the cooling weather in other parts of the country and sweaters are displayed in the stores (and that’s a real brain-bender when it’s 102 degrees outside here in Austin, TX!).

The point is this… the fall season makes people hearts beat a little faster.

There’s a quickening that happens as people get ready to settle in for our ‘regularly scheduled’ year. It’s soon back to school and back to work.

By the way, this means there are only 138 days left in the year in which to complete your annual goals (we’re two-thirds through 2011).

So, in order to make the most of the energy of this incoming season, it’s important to focus on what’s important.

In fact, here are three things you can do right now:

  1. Take the time to go through your priorities as you outlined them in January to see what’s left for you to do – then follow-through with actualizing and implementing a plan.
  2. Use the longer days of daylight that we still have to get in an extra hour on your to do list to get some new momentum going.
  3.  Leave me a note about your focus and your action commitment for the next 7 days – that ensures your clarity and engages your energy to make it happen.

By the way, Deepak Chopra says that 40% of our happiness depends on engaging in activities that express our creativity and/or make other people happy through voluntary, intentional choices.

(To round out the happiness formula, 50% depends on whether you see problems or opportunities in your world, and the other 10% of your happiness is based on your living conditions.)

To see his short video on that, click here: http://youtu.be/qKwZXhOXSa8

My intention in sharing the happiness formula is simple: you can choose to be fully present in your life and proactively work your business or not – both the choice and consequence is yours.

However, it’s a lot easier to do when the energy can help carry you along to get your groove back… so take advantage of the quickening energy to get a jumpstart on completing your priorities this year. (And bonus! You’ll be happier because you’re actively choosing it!).

So, here’s to the quickening and your happiness… be sure to leave me your focus / commitment comment below…  :+)

Words to Rock Your World…!
Tuesday July 19th 2011, 3:36 pm

Words, words, words- powerful when written, spoken, heard- and most of all, acted upon!  The following spoken words are various pieces of my practice, and all of them can truly rock your world.  Sit back, find a peaceful space (and a pen)- and use these words to find your own focus and power.

ONE: Craft Your Audio Logo
Your audio logo is what helps your potential clients recognize
you as the best resource for them. Here is a 20-minute convo
between me and David Favor that tells you how to progress yours
to be powerful and compelling.

This is a gift – may it give you clarity in articulating your
vibrant message! (And no opt-in is needed to hear it.)

Check it out at:

TWO: Sample Catalyst Session

When working with private clients, I follow their energy to
create results. That means I never know what will be revealed
until we get into it.

People describe working with me in different ways:
* as a visceral, profound, deeply core shift experience,
* me being a cat burglar who opens their forgotten combo,
* taking medicine in a sugar-coated spoon,
* me being their spiritual chiropractor, and,
* me being the contractor who puts their money-pit house together.

Whatever it is, it’s my sacred purpose… thank you to each
each and every precious person who has trusted me in their world.

Here is a 15-minute snippet of a sample (although real!) Catalyst
session that focuses on the relationship between love and
money. (The audio quality gets a little loud here and there;
that being said, this is just as it happened…!)

Listen in now by clicking here (no opt-in required):

THREE: Audio Testimonial Post-Catalyst Session

Wanna hear what makes my cells sing? Here is what one of my
recent clients had to say after being “Lynn-in-ized” (2 minutes):

############

FOUR: The Answer Class Audio ($14.95)

Last week, I taught a class that had so much kick to it that people
were amazed (and a little stunned) afterward… kinda like taking
a drink from a firehose! A LOT of info here… ;=)

This was about giving answers in response to the six key areas
(Soul Song, Big Fears, Distortions, Business Self-Esteem, Old GPS
or Guiding Profit System, and Practical Business How-Tos) where
people report they are experiencing the biggest stumbling blocks,
obstacles and challenges.

Now edited, this is 75 minutes of full-on, powerful information (and
there are special offers throughout the audio too!).

Here’s what a few participants said about it:

“I tried to take notes but you were giving so much quality so quick
that I had to throw my pen across the room and just listen!”

“Well-organized, cohesive, powerful, amazing… a great introduction
to key concepts for a better life!”

“You gave info that most gurus sell for hundreds – if not thousands
– of dollars! The value is priceless – you gave specific things to
work with right now. Just take even one thing – the audio logo,
the personal manifestation formula, how to be transparent, what
to know about over-giving and others – and really work with it,
and it will be life-changing with lasting impact!”

To download your audio of this information for $14.95, go here now:

http://goo.gl/AQl7Z

That’s an investment that can you pay you back quickly… clarity
is everything. :+)

Sacred Commerce For Your Consciousness
Tuesday April 26th 2011, 4:46 pm

Five thousand years ago, ancient Egyptian commerce was advanced by
traveling Merchant Priests. These priests were trained to regard
business a sacred practice, rather than just a financial
transaction. It was considered a vehicle by which both vendors
and customers could raise their vibrational consciousness,
contribute to their communities and, ultimately, create
their self-actualization.

The Merchant Priests were responsible for maintaining balance and
flow of abundance with people and amongst communities. Business
was their channel for making sure that there was a healthy flow of
goods through and across the population geographically and amongst
economic levels so that there was consistency in experiencing wealth.

They considered goods as a measure of energy vs. being a profit
center; their emphasis was on prosperity as a practice and trust
was the keystone of good business. Even more fascinating is that
these merchant priests traded in precious goods as determined by
their ability to carry positive energetic frequencies rather than
focusing on their financial value.

This is radically different from today’s marketplace where you can
find and exchange anything and everything, much of it without
energetically supportive qualities or in a way that honors the
connection as the sacred trust it actually represents.

There was considerable training for these ancient Merchant Priests
in the skills of emotional intelligence and alchemy as well as
empathy, to help them understand the shifting environments
surrounding negotiations, and then to have the ability to
transmute and even clear any non-supporting energies during
business transactions.

The Merchant Priests were concerned with the overall health and
well-being of the collective community and could actually monitor
and manage the psychic tone of their culture, much like we rely
on the stock market to tell us how our economy is doing. (Ouch –
can you feel the difference already?)

Business is a symbol for the health of our collective community. It’s
an accelerator of cultural evolution and personal expansion. By
allowing your spiritual practice to come through your business,
you are walking the path of your divine purpose. By unifying your
life and your livelihood, you are increasing your ability to
contribute in a more powerful and profound way to your growth,
your legacy and the greater good.

So, here’s the secret of business as I see it – it’s your highest
calling made manifest through service. And sacred commerce, or the
merchant priesthood, is the foundation and the future of business.

When you look at how you’ve been approaching your business, and
how people have been doing business with you, is it in integrity
with higher consciousness? Or is it just a way to make money?

So think about this concept of sacred commerce
and then decide…

Are you in or are you out?

To Raising Consciousness Through Commerce ~

What the Happiest and Most Successful Women Do Differently: Q&A with Marcus Buckingham
Sunday January 31st 2010, 12:12 pm

Sandra  Bienkowski  January 19, 2010

Marcus Buckingham is a leadership expert, internationally renowned speaker and New York Times best-selling author of several books, including First, Break All the Rules; Now Discover Your Strengths and Find Your Strongest Life: What the Happiest and Most Successful Women Do Differently. He’s the founder of TMBC, a management consulting company, and has been hailed as a visionary by corporations such as Toyota, Coca-Cola and Microsoft. He has appeared on Oprah and Larry King Live and been featured in major newspapers.

SUCCESS: What led you to bring your life-strengthening message to women in particular?

Marcus Buckingham: The leading data on women’s happiness over the past 40 years is compelling and disappointing. Women have gained greater power, broader influence, higher education and more money, but according to research by the National Bureau of Economic Research, women’s daily life satisfaction has gone downhill in the last 40 years. Men are actually slightly happier now that they were, probably due to the slight increase in prosperity we have had, while women’s daily satisfaction has dropped steadily, even given that greater prosperity. It’s true of women in the work force, those not working, those who have kids and those who don’t. As a researcher, I find this trend discouraging: half of our population is experiencing decreasing net happiness and satisfaction with life. When we look at what makes people engaged and fulfilled with their lives, everyone from economists to psychologists seems to agree that the feeling of self-efficacy, feeling valued and effective in your strength zone is critical. The happiest and most successful people are those who have figured out ways to play to the best of themselves in each part of their lives. They feel in the zone.

SUCCESS: What is causing this ongoing dissatisfaction and unhappiness in life?

Marcus Buckingham: There are two causes. One is excess of choice. Life’s tricky for women because they have more choices than men. Most women don’t get much help in knowing what choices will strengthen them, or how to have a strong internal compass so they don’t wonder about or regret the choices made. The second cause is that the advice women have been given is misleading. Women are told to strive for balance. It’s impossible to balance a morning let alone a day or a life. You’ll never balance perfectly the amount of hours spent on each particular aspect of your life, and it’s not satisfying when you try. If your goal in life is balance, you’ll forever be disappointing yourself.

SUCCESS: What do you mean when you say that the happiest and most successful women know how to catch and cradle?

Marcus Buckingham: The challenge of life is not to juggle, the challenge is to catch—to select a few clear strong moments from each aspect of your life and reach for those, draw them in to you. I call this “catch and cradle.” In contrast with manic juggling, there is a deliberate reaching for specific moments to cradle. When you cradle a baby, you concentrate on it, you feel its weight, and allow it to move you; you’re very responsive to it. Cradling is a very nurturing position; you’re not grasping it to you, there’s hopefulness to it. If you want to live a full life, a life that fulfills you, then you need to know in each part of your life which the specific moments that really renew your energy, and bring you joy, and go after them. You want to imbalance your life toward creating more of those specific moments. It’s a very different approach. It’s not “learn to say no” it’s “learn to say yes.” Learn who you are clearly enough to know which moments you need to say “yes” to, and understand that the moments won’t be the same for your sister or your next door neighbor or your coworker.

Productive Procrastination… What?
Tuesday October 13th 2009, 1:35 pm

Procrastination is a big deal for a lot of entrepreneurs, and we tend to view procrastination as a negative. But a colleague of mine has a completely different perspective on it, which I think very interesting and potentially helpful. Read on to learn more…

Kerul Kassel asks, “Could it actually be wise to procrastinate sometimes?” There are secrets to understanding when it can be productive to procrastinate, and strategies for switching on the inspiration and motivation to start and finish the important tasks and goals you’ve been putting off.

Procrastination isn’t what you think it is, and being a procrastinator isn’t necessarily a bad thing – sometimes it provides the space for you to connect with, engage, and optimize your potential. Productive procrastination also allows you to get things done with less struggle and resistance. Kerul has two books on procrastination, available at http://productiveprocrastinationbook.com/.

If you know that what is holding you back from the success you want is that you’re not doing what you know you need to do, that you’re putting things off, delaying things continually, you’re an eleventh hour person, or if you think procrastinator is your middle name, these books could be really helpful in getting your energy moving in a new direction.
